I've consistently followed Stephanie's treatment plan since I began electrolysis. Steph was highly recommended based on her experience, friendly demeanor and successful results. Stephanie was incredibly welcoming and reassuring in her delivery of information. Her high knowledge base of technicalities of the processes were evident in the ease she responded to my questions.
I find myself looking forward to visiting Steph for every treatment! She's personable, calming, and a delight to spend time. Her office is professional and comfortable. Stephanie is accommodating, offering day, evening, and weekend hours. She is honest, straightforward, and realistic about your treatments. I've never felt embarrassed and have always been comfortable, which has not been experienced at other practices. My treatments are now monthly for maintenance. Due to travel, I felt the necessity to seek treatment from several out-of-town electrologists and had terrible experiences. I have and will continue to recommend family and friends to Steph. With her professional experience, diligence, and strong work ethic, she is definitely the best in the Capital Region!

I've been seeing Stephanie for about 2 months now. I get electrolysis on my chin, upper lip and eyebrows. My constant complaint is "Why didn’t I do this sooner?!" I’m not even sure now why I ever put it off. To me, the discomfort is really no more than when I tweezed or waxed. My skin is sensitive, so Steph just adjusts the setting to accommodate that. The most difficult part of the process was trying to stop tweezing these areas. It was such a habit to just pick up my tweezers and start yanking them out. I literally had to hide the tweezers from myself!
After 2 months of weekly appointments of Steph reshaping my eyebrows, people noticed a difference and began commenting that I look great - but they couldn't put their finger on why! They asked, "Are you doing something different with your hair?" ..."What’s different? Are you wearing contacts?" It’s amazing how a subtle change of just having your eyebrows shaped correctly can have such a big impact on your overall appearance! People now notice my eyes instead of my misshapen brows. Financially, when I weighed the cost of waxing against electrolysis, for me, it is well worth it. I’m elated I decided to do this! I have recommended Steph to others and will continue to do so!

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful service you provide to me.
Before I started seeing you, my self-esteem was in the dumps. I lived 43 years of my life suffering from the pink razor burn on my bikini line, to the hair on my chinny chin-chin, to the top of my bushy, bushy eyebrows. I didn't dare go a day without plucking or shaving something. I was miserable.
I wanted my treatments to be private because I didn't want anyone to know about my "stray hair" problem. I certainly didn't want to sit in a waiting room like I was going to the dentist to have a tooth pulled. Stephanie's studio is very discreet. I was also apprehensive about the cost and thought I never could afford to permanently remove my unwanted hair...now I know I couldn't afford NOT to!
From my first meeting with you I knew I was doing the right thing. You have a very private, professional office. Your treatment room is always clean and comfortable. You were very honest about what was, or was not, required to achieve permanent hair removal. You have a way of putting people at ease - and I thank you for that.
Since I began seeing you my confidence has soared and as a result, I have lost over 50 lbs.! And thanks to you, I now confidently wear bathing suits and don't even think about stray “peekers!”
I recommend you to mothers who have daughters who are uncomfortable in a bathing suit because of stray hairs. I would never want any teen or woman to experience the embarrassment of razor burn the way I did. I recommend you to all women who have hair in any area they don't want unwanted hair to be!
